We have an immediate need/opening of an expert in Data Analyst and Data Administrators for a fulltime in British Columbia. Experience in administration in multiple domains will be an added advantage. Join our team in a position that lets you grow with us!

Job Summary:

• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
• Mine and analyses data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
• Train individuals and corporate customers on Data analysis, basic setup and administration.
• Experience on Data Analysis operations using different tools for achieving Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience in Implementation & maintaining the branching, merging and build/release strategies utilizing Subversion.
• Involving in the functional usage and deployment of applications in Azure DevOps and DevSecOps.
• Experience in working with tools like DevOps and DevSecOps.
• Experience of Migration & deployment of Applications with upgrade versions of Applications.
• Experience in Cross-Platform Environments like UNIX and Windows.
• Able to administer tasks like taking backups, expanding file system disk space.
• Experience in an agile development team to deliver an end to end continuous integration/continuous delivery product in an open source environment using tools like DevOps & Jenkins.
• Expertise in trouble shooting the problems generated while building, deploying and in production support.
• Excellent communication, intuitive, analysis and leadership skills with ability to work efficiently in both independent and team work environments.
• Experience in supporting 24x7 production computing environments. Experience providing on-call and weekend support.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong in both, operational and financial data analysis
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, Hive, Bigdata Hadoop etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
• Ability to work on multiple assignments in parallel and keep up with deadlines and quality
• Articulate complex data in business terms and make recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
• Skill to extract intelligence from data, derive business insights and present to business
• Training / Teaching experience to individuals and corporate customers on DevOps and DevSecOps basic setup and administration.
• Ability to identify and resolve performance in highly complex systems and drive performance optimizations.

Qualifications:

• BE / B Tech / MBA / M.Tech / MS
• Experience in Data Admin & Data analytics; 2 to 5 years of experience
• Ability to work cross functionally; Very strong in business analytics, Previous experience in services will be helpful. Exposure to operational and financial data
• Good in communication (ability to articulate analysis and present)
• Experience working with internal and external organizations solving complex problems and handling large scale projects.
• Proven ability to drive systems optimizations on large scale infrastructure.

Assets:

• Any Expert level Platform certifications.
